ELECTRONIC TRANSFER OF PENSION BENEFIT

Retirees may have their pension benefit electronically deposited directly into their bank account. This will eliminate any worries about:

  • delayed delivery of your check by the post office.
  • check getting lost, misplaced or stolen from your mailbox.
  • weather or illness preventing you from getting to the bank to deposit your check.
  • leaving town for vacation or travel and your check not getting deposited.
Electronic transfer (sometimes called “direct deposit”) assures that your benefit is deposited in your account on the first of every month without fail.

Just fill out the Request for Direct Deposit form. Attach a voided check or a deposit slip to the form and send it in to the Pension Department at the Benefits Fund Office. We'll take it from there!
